Chained Future does not accept payment for coverage, free devices on condition of coverage, or sponsored placements from wallet makers or exchanges.

Commercial links

Some links may be affiliate links, which pay us a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. Any such link is labelled where it appears. Commissions never decide what a datasheet says, how devices are compared, or which devices a guide mentions: devices without an affiliate program are covered by the same method and appear in the same tables.

Not financial advice

Pages describe products and their trade-offs. They are not recommendations to buy, sell or hold any asset, and they do not account for your circumstances.

Sourcing

We prefer primary sources: manufacturer documentation, security advisories, regulator registers and peer-reviewed or published research. Secondary reporting is used only to point to a primary source. See how we check wallets.

AI tools

We use AI tools to gather sources and to draft page text from sourced records. Facts that reach a page must carry a link to their source and a checked date, and each page passes a separate fact-check against those sources before publication.

Corrections

We fix errors as soon as we confirm them and record the change in the changelog with the date.
